Stella is our most recent addition to the NATOA team as the Marketing & Communications Director.
A communications and marketing major, she obtained diplomas in Marketing, Public Relations and Business Management from the University of Winnipeg. Throughout and after University, she worked as the publicist and event planner for one of the largest tattoo conventions in North America, the Toronto Tattoo Show and also the Shanghai Tattoo Convention in 2015.
An arts and business fanatic, she was the Marketing Assistant for two Winnipeg based publishing houses, Signature Editions and J.Gordon Shillingford Publishing who published authors such as the late Don Marks (Playing the White Man’s Games, Warriors on Ice), Roseanne Deerchild (this is a small northern town) & Katherena Vermette (North End Love Songs). Most recently she worked with the Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business in the Marketing and Events department, where she forged media relations for the organization as well as assisted in all their event planning logistics. In her spare time she enjoys attending concerts, reading, and visiting tattoo conventions around the world.
