Committees
The Responsible Investment Committee is responsible for formulating the direction NATOA will take in providing leading information to the membership in the area of Responsible Investment which includes Socially Responsible Investing (SRI), Ethical, Sustainable and Governance (ESG),The United Nations Declaration of the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (UNDRIP), the Truth and Reconciliation Commission Report (TRC) and any other relevant areas to this field.
Activities:
The Responsible Investment Committee will oversee and report on any and all partnerships that includes the current partnership with Share Canada in delivering the Reconciliation and Responsible Investment Project. Communications and relationships with external organizations whose work will impact Indigenous Communities and Nations will be emphasized and encouraged. The Committee will provide input and direction to foster NATOA as a leading edge proponent of Indigenous rights, partnerships and contribution to investing in traditional lands for our communities.
