Celebrating Successful Indigenous Women and Their Paths

National Aboriginal Trust Officers Association (NATOA) is a charitable organization that believes that only by empowering the Indigenous women in Canada, we can achieve robust and sustainable economic development, protect the rights of our Indigenous peoples and lay the foundation for stable, healthy societies in Canada and worldwide.

NATOA is proud to host its first ‘Indigenous Women’s Summit & Gala’ that will take place May 15, 2019 at The Westin Bayshore Vancouver.

The summit will feature some of the most successful and influential Indigenous women across the country who have created and accomplished their set goals.

Join us as we showcase real life stories of hardships, planning, action, set-backs and victories, awarding one woman who has paved the way for future generations with the first NATOA National Award of Distinction.

Summit panel discussions include:

  1. Indigenous Economy and Innovative Strategies to Succeed
  2. Community Leadership
  3. Entrepreneurship and Corporate Canada
  4. Trusts, Investment and Finance

NATOA is excited to announce the 6th Annual National Indigenous Trust and Investment Conference that will take place at The Westin Bayshore Vancouver in Vancouver, BC. The 2-day event is designed to provide an informative and interactive venue for all those involved with Indigenous Trusts. Speakers will represent both the Indigenous Communities who have established, or in the process of establishing, and maintained successful Trust operations, and members of the Corporate Industry that effectively service these Communities.

The theme of this year’s conference is Investing In Traditional Values.

Indigenous Communities in Canada and around the world are working diligently to be productive and vital leaders and partners within the economies of their regional areas and the national picture. Investing in our communities and economy means working with the traditional and unique cultural values of each of the varied Indigenous peoples across Canada. When we invest ourselves, we have the opportunity to utilize our own traditional and cultural values to generate much needed revenues to help our community meet the needs of its people, both now and generations to come.
