With considerable experience working with over 100 companies in strategy, planning, organizational design and performance, I have a personal interest and considerable successful application of the behavioural and neuroscientific foundations of elite performance in individuals, teams and cultures
 
Organizations include: Mabruk Oil (Libya), Total Oil (France), California HSE, Revlon, Colomer USA, University of Lethbridge, Business Development Bank of Canada, Alberta Innovates, TecTerra and the National Aboriginal Trust Officer Association. Industries are varied, from retail and service organizations, to more technical industries such as oil and gas and geospatial imaging.
 
My first foray into business occurred when I borrowed $5,000 to leverage 1/3 ownership of my first multi-million dollar company. Shortly after selling my ownership, I moved into senior positions in Economic Development where I was awarded Alberta economic developer of the year. After receiving Economic Development’s top honour, I entered post-secondary where I was responsible for leading a national initiative in partnership with the National Aboriginal Trust Officer Association (NATOA), TD Bank and Lethbridge College to create an Aboriginal Trust Training Program to assist trust officers in the management of close to 200 billion dollars of trust fund opportunities across Canada.
 
I currently work with mid-cap companies with an energy focus to recommend performance solutions for the University of Calgary, Haskayne School of Business, I am a sessional faculty instructor at Medicine Hat College and provide corporate training, executive coaching and business advisory services with Platepus Global Consulting.
 
I hold a professional designation in economic development (Ec.D) a master’s degree in business (MBA), a Canadian chartered manager designation (C.Mgr.) , in addition to currently completing a doctorate with a focus on organizational development and industrial psychology.(DBA)
